It was a difficult decision to pull out of Zagreb

It was a difficult decision to pull out of Zagreb Zagreb Indoors
ANKLE INJURY PREVENTED MILOS RAONIC FROM COMING TO CROATIA

Canadian Milos Raonic was promoted as the biggest star of the ATP tournament PBZ Zagreb Indoors. Unfortunately, re-aggravated an ankle injury and had to pull out from the tournament, just as he did with his Davis Cup Team few days before that. Milos is in Tokyo from where he sent a statement, saying how hard for him was to take this decision.
"It is with a great amount of sadness that I am withdrawing from the PBZ Zagreb Indoors next week.  Unfortunately my ankle injury has made it so I could not give my best performance that I and my fans expect when I step onto court.  The ankle injury I re-aggravated during the first day of Davis Cup training has not healed enough for me to go out and give my best in Zagreb.  It was a difficult decision to pull out of Zagreb but I am in need of the week to fully recover.
Ivan has told me great things about the Zagreb tournament, from the organization, city and the fans.  It was a very important tournament to Ivan and I am looking forward to playing it in the near future to experience it for myself firsthand.

Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to seeing you in the future."
